Season 10, Episode 32: Monitoring Earth

"Monitoring Earth"
Episode 32
Air Date: September 28th, 2002

Welp...the time has come for me to sink my teeth into possibly the most infuriating episode of not only the season, but the entirety of the franchise.  Now, I've been trying desperately to make these reviews sound like actual articulate critiques on each episode and season overall instead of relentless, thoughtless rants on why certain episodes suck beyond anything I've seen in terms of proper children's television should be....but....I'm sorry, the gloves are coming off this episode! -_-  I've tried to give Wild Force and the terribly awful writers this season some credit but this arc reaches a whole new low here, that I wonder if they actually believe this from a story point of view makes sense when it absolutely doesn't!  The fact the episode opens up with the rangers and Princess Shayla still not knowing that Kite is Animus!? O_O Yes, after that blatant and obvious cliffhanger with Merrick remembering "the wind" Kite summoned to stop the Wild Zords was for nothing. THEN..the little  child of corn is watching the news abut the world's pollution problem and begins ranting about "the Ozone's gone, why are humans doing this, blah, blah, blah!"  After Cole tells the little eco-terrorist in training humans don't mean to destroy nature, it's Taylor who has the good sense to try to shut him up but Cunt...I mean Kite (Excuse me!) just runs away to start walking around dirty alleyways and common places where trash is thrown...instead of the possible hundreds of recycling planets, volunteer centers, ecological research centers, charity organizations having to do with cleaning, promoting environment friendly activities and care, etc.  Yes....this idiotic arc falls into such an abyss of suck that this once powerful ancient megazord doesn't have to common sense to check all this out but would rather focus on the negative aspects of the problems instead of the multiple solutions being done to freakin' fix it all around the world!!! O_O  Woooooowwww!!!

So why the rangers meander about looking for Kite, Mandilok, Jindrax and Toxica finally confront him as Mandilok gets the idea to bring Kite onto their side as he clearly has immense power watching how he stopped the Wild Zords last time.  And I just love how laughable it is to completely convert Kite to his side by just showing him an endless field of humans' waste and how they are the cause of Orgs' returning.  I mean this is the first decent plan by Mandilok but it makes Animus look completely lacking in any type of common sense as a TV Org rises from the wasteland.  Mind you, the rangers are worried about Kite and where he is when the Org begins attacking and trapping humans instead of its screen.  There the rangers reunite at an enormous stadium to reason with Kite and protect him as Kite just stands there like some gullible puppet watching as the rangers fight for their life to save him.  Kite even shoves Merrick dozens of feet away just cause he touched him! Oh and when Kite is in danger of being completely crushed by a truck, he simply stops it with one hand and pushes it to the point he almost crushes the rangers! -_-  Omg!!! F&*^ this guy!!! And during ALL of this no one is putting it together that Kite is Animus, even though there are soooo many clues pointing at him being this ancient megazord you've been wondering about being back but NOPE!!!  It's like the whole Lost Galactabeasts frustration from Lost Galaxy all over again!!! Is it really that hard to figure out??? -_-

Anyway, the worse part of it is, after the rangers defeat the TV Org with their Wild Force Megazord, Mandilok decides to take over it and use it against the rangers.  But that when our recent bastard child decides to finally reveal himself as Animus by fearing the Wild Force Megazord from his control.  So, now everyone knows Kite's true identity and act all shocked as the Orgs retreat.  And now Animus decides to give his bullsh!t reason why he needs to take the Wild Zords from the rangers because he won't fight for the Orgs and especially humans who caused ALL of this in the first place.  Yup, this great and powerful leader of Animaria has decide to screw over the only force currently protecting the GOD DAMN city as well as the freakin' planet out of pettiness and complete and utter irrationality.  He's just gonna negate EVERYTHING the Wild Force rangers have done, saving the city, protecting the Earth from being polluted by Master Org and those Mut-Orgs, not to mention the fact these people looked after you and care for you when you didn't know who you were.  Princess Shayla and your old friend, Merrick??? F%^& em!!! Millions of people out who are contradicting everything you're saying who annoying, overbearing hypocrite???!! I'm just gonna ignore them because all I'm saying is stupid and won't even make sense by next episode if it hasn't already.  Shayla falling down and collapsing as ALL the Wild Zords on the Animarium disappear...so you're just gonna let that happen Animus???  I mean I know shes useless but you actually just made her even more useless...WOW!!?? o_O  So narrator guy shows up again and tells us this crap and I'm just left with this overwhelming sense to punch a small child! Crap, complete and utter crap!  An episode that encompasses the unfortunate black cloud of writing that happened this season with some many errors of even logic that continue to cause me infinite rage as I rewatch this atrocious arc of non-sense.  Lowest point this season by far! -_-
