This episode....3 things....

1) So Princess Shayla, isn't just a useless mentor, she's a selfish, immature one??? O_o  Yes, Shayla gets into a fight with Merrick and comes to the most outrageous conclusion that his flute playing suddenly sucks when it clearly wasn't him as he tries to find out.  She assumes he did it on purpose because of their unresolved issues after 3,000 years and I am just completely repulsed at the whole thing.  Lives are stake, the rangers need guidance, etc and all Ms. Does Nothing can think about is how much she doesn't want to be near Merrick right now, even admitting to Alyssa how immature she's being and doesn't care!!! THIS is the rangers' mentor people!!! My GOD!!! o_O  Could you imagine during the Zordon Era is Zordon and Alpha got into a major fight and refused to work it out because Zordon was being a brat about it!?? -_-  I just...Wild Force continues to remind me why this season is not only problematic but unapologetic in how laughable it is at times too. Yes, Shayla, it's all about you and Merrick, not the possibility of a new Org or being mature about this so the rangers aren't having to worry about this than saving the freakin' WORLD!!! Guardians of the Earth be damned! Merrick is being mean to me! GROW. UP!!! Oh my God!!! O_o  Eventually they do, but it takes Merrick, NOT Shayla, to approach her for them to do so when the mentor doesn't have the good sense to do it even when the rangers are in serious danger. -_-

2) Oh...we get more Kite this episode and I'm sorry to say, once again, this child actor is atrocious in every way.  Seeing Kite literally being brought to tears by Shayla's song has got to be one of the most genuinely vomit inducing things I've ever seen from this show.  The writers aren't even being about Kite's true nature in this episode and the continue fixation the rangers have over this boy when they don't know who he is yet is borderline creepy.  Cole even talks to....oh for the love of....a group of pigeons...yes, pigeons (some of the most disgusting animals imaginable!) to find out where Kite is. -_- When he does, once again, Kite is all cryptic and unsure of who he is and instead of making it someone else's problem so they can just focus on...you know....protecting the Earth, Cole wants to bound with him and buy him ice cream.  Oyyyyyyy!! This arc is already making no sense and this is before Animus goes on to side with the Orgs but I'm getting ahead of myself with this crap!

Lastly....3)  The Flute Org was terrible as well as its ability to make people dance in the most....bizarre and embarrassing way possible.  Sequence after sequence of seeing these people dance awfully is not what I would call entertaining in the least.  At least Max's actor, Phillip Jeanmarie, gave me a good chuckle throwing in some "Thriller" moves in there.  But beside that, BOOOOOOOO!!! -_-  Mandilok continues to be a lackluster villain who does do anything but eat! -_-  Yeah...nothing more on him....moving on.  Oh and Animus just shows up after Kite runs away (Not subtle at all there!) to destroy the Flute Org's instrument since it's stopping the rangers from calling their Wildzords.  Love how when everything is all sad and done, Animus just disappears after he officially returns.  Honestly, how the hell is this even possible??? Animus knew who he was before and even helped the rangers save Cole not to long ago.  Suddenly, he's Kite, has no memory of the past and just becomes Animus out of instinct???  Anyway, so what did we learn from this episode anyway?? Oh Merrick and Princess Shayla will continue to play to the Deer Wildzord, who actually managed to save the rangers from the Org's spell in this episode, in the morning cause they worked out their issues.  Jesus, when the Deer Wildzord wasn't that much of an immature douche compared to Shayla this episode!  What an awesome mentor guys....really??? O_o Awful!
