Left on a tense cliffhanger of the Q-Rex beginning to destroy the city, the rangers immediately call on Circuit for help as he says the megazord in already on the way.  As the Time Flyers arrive, mysterious guy from the future also sends the Time Shadow.  I just LOVE how that thing arrives through an eclipse! It NEVER gets old.  As the Time Force Megazord struggles with the Q-Rex, the Time Shadow arrives to help.  The two megazords are able to damage the Q-Rex to the point of it needing to retreat for the moment but not before blasting both megazords hard enough where the rangers are knocked out of it.  As they wonder where the Q-Rex went, Eric is frustrated he still doesn't have control of it as the voice identification is locked.  As the rangers recover at the Clock tower, Circuit tells them the Q-Rex maybe damage for now but in two hours it will be completely repaired and stronger than ever!  We see this as the Q-Rex begins healing itself in a nearby cave.  Meanwhile, Eric confronts Mr. Collins again about being leader of the Silver Guardians but Mr. Collins says the other rangers have megazords and he doesn't.  Eric, of course, says "what if I got control of the Q-Rex?" to which Mr. Collins "Now that would be impressive!"  Mr. Collins says he plans to make Eric the new leader of the Silver Guardians if he can do that as well as wanting to recruit the other Time Force Rangers.

As the Q-Rex continues to heal, Wes confronts Eric at Bio-Lab for the morpher and they take their confrontation to an abandoned warehouse.  As Wes tries to get the morpher back, Eric uses their conflicted past as well as Wes' supposed selfish personality to justify why he should have the Quantum morpher.  Then Eric tells him about Mr. Collins offering the other rangers the opportunity to work for him to capture Ransik and of course, Wes doesn't buy it. Soon both of them morph after Eric tells Wes he's going to have to take it from him.  During the fight, the Q-Rex fully recovers and returns to the city where Commandocon calls for him.  As Eric and Wes chase after it, the other Time Force rangers arrive to tell Wes that they declined Mr. Collins' offer to Eric's shock and Wes' relief.  As the Q-Rex continues to rampage through the city, the Time Force rangers get to work by calling on Circuit to summon the Time Flyers.  As they arrive once again, they form the Mode Red of the Time Force Megazord.  Soon the Time Shadow arrives to form the Mode Red version of the Shadow Force Megazord.  Finally!  It's pretty cool too, able to shoot holographic nets that can trap the Q-Rex but Commandocon commands it to destroy the nets and it just attacks the Shadow Force Meagzord.  As Eric tries to get control, the voice activation is still locked and Commandocon decides to grow to join the Q-Rex.  As the rangers get own in their megazord by both, the AI in the Quantum Morpher tells Eric he needs to destroy the device on the Q-Rex.

After Eric gets its attention, the Q-Rex heads for him.  When Eric spots the device, he destroys it and gains control of the Q-Rex.  The Q-Rex by the way is an excellent zord with an even more impressive megazord form that can shot missile and the eventual finisher is just awesome.  After defeating Commandocon with the Q-Rex, the rangers and Circuit wonder what Eric plans to do with it as Mr. Collins makes him the new leader of the Silver Guardians soon after.  The episode ends with Jen surprisingly joking around about taking Mr. Collins offer...to which Wes goes after her.  It's a small but nice moment showing Jen beginning to lighten up a little.  Overall, these two part episodes were phenomenal! God, I love this season SO MUCH so far!!! :)
